Our Returns, Refunds, Shipping, and Order Cancellation Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days of delivery for a full refund. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a return, refund or order cancellation.

Additional non-returnable items:

*Gift cards (*Note: We do not issue gift cards paid using Klarna).

*Downloadable software products or E-books.

*Some health and personal care items.

*Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

*CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.

*Book with obvious signs of use.

*Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase to another manufacturer.

We will pay the return shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Timing:  You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us  with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within the timeframe referenced above.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Right to Withdraw Your Purchase:

You have a right not to purchase any item in your cart. You may withdraw your purchase by clicking on the “x” button in your online cart next to the item listed in your cart and removing the item in your cart during the purchasing process. You can find your Cart link on the homepage in the top right-hand corner if you leave your shopping cart and need to return.  In that event, after clicking on the “Cart” link, click on “View Cart” and you will be taken to your cart to view all items in your cart where you can then remove any or all items by clicking on the “x” in the box next to the referenced cost of each item in your cart below (or next to) the “Total” column/row.  The locations of the information in your cart may vary slightly depending upon the device you are using. 

If you purchase something without deleting it from the cart that you did not want to purchase, you may contact us at admin@champagnecat.com (or use the contact form) and we will be happy to help cancel the order for you.  This might require the entire order to be cancelled and you may have to repurchase the items you wanted if separation cannot be made by the time you cancel.  We'll do everything we can to make the process work as conveniently as possible.  While we anticipate you will love your purchases and will happily anticapte receiving them, when it comes to cancelling an order we do not delay cancellations but our response time may vary.  You may expect our cancellation processing will be within 24-48 hours of our receipt and review of the cancellation request, if not sooner.  We understand that choosing to cancel an order can be a dissapointing decision for our customers and will process order cancellations of valid orders respectfully.

No order will be cancelled or withdrawn after shipping.  In the event of a cancellation request after an item is shipped, please process the item as a return in accord with these policies.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded.  Sale items cannot be refunded.


Exchanges

All items are checked for quality before being sent. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged before leaving our facility. If you need to exchange a purchase for the same item, send us an email at champagnecathappiness@startmail.com. We will provide instructions by return email in accord with our policies set out above.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

We do not issue gift cards paid using Klarna as this violates Klarna's policies.


Shipping your return

To return your product, you should email your request to us at champagnecathappiness@startmail.com and we will provide return instructions to the purchaser of the product listed in our records.  All mechandise must include the original packaging and a copy of your receipt.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
