Happy Birthday United States Army!

Today we say HAPPY BIRTHDAY and a BIG THANK YOU to our United States Army! 

The courage and bravery it takes to devote ones time and possibly one's life to benefit others - which is required by all men and women in our military - is deserving of our respect, honor, and privileges. 

Our U.S. Army was formed by the first men and women who defended our country before documents creating our nation were even signed.  These first soldiers gave our nation a legacy of greatness.  

While we go about our day today, and every day, we give thanks for the men and women of our military who offer themselves up to hold back so much evil and defend freedom, which comes from our God.  What honor they deserve for their sacrifices!

We hope you are proud of the United States of America.  You should be.  We should all endeavor every day to keep our values - those old fashioned values - that make our country GREAT.  

We recommend this short film featuring Clark Gable that shows the high risk and dangerous missions our military often undertakes and the kindness and decency to the world for which our military and our country has and always should be known.  We love the words of Clark Gable at the end of this movie and we recommend you watch it today before the beautiful parade in honor of the Birthdate of the U.S. Army:
